It is a shame.  Tarka who is nearly two now, is really quite a bright cat, she believes that Grace our rescued Golden British Shorthair is her mother despite the fact that she is nearly 3 times the size of Grace.  Being quite a large cat she does have trouble hiding to leap out and surprise Grace and will use anything she can find to hide under, being quite large she also has a tendency to drag items of clothing around the house to hide under, most of which quite clearly don't do the job, but she thinks that if her face is hidden then she can't be seen.
