New work in progress

It seems like ages since I added anything to the blog, and here is the reason why

I decided to create a view of Lytham Square, and it is taking absolutely ages!  It didn't start out as a panoramic but developed into one as I worked.  I have just finished the sketching and pen work and now begun working out my colours, I think it will take quite a bit longer to complete than I had originally thought!

Here is a small section showing some of the detail from the new piece, unfortunately my camera isn't great for taking this kind of picture but it gives an idea of the detail.
