The St Annes art society were holding an outdoor exhibition in St Annes square and I couldn't resist painting them, it was a beautiful hot sunny day and everybody was enjoying the day and the event.

This elderly gentleman was up and about very early one Saturday morning in spring, trying to beat the rush to the shops, I love the light and shadows that this time of day creates.

Lytham residents really love their annual Club day,  this was a particularly sunny Club day with everyone enjoying the good weather on Lytham Green.

The sun setting created such a magnificent array of colours over Lytham Green and the Windmill that it was simply irresistable.
